Hi, I am Adela - a mother, a tea enthusiast, Tea ceremony facilitator, space holder and a Reiki practitioner - in training to become a Reiki Master Teacher.

I was born in the Czech Republic and moved to Australia in 2010. I have always felt a deep connection to nature, animals and anything mystic. I also am an avid reader - mainly fantasy. Growing up, I would often escape to my dream land of fairies, witches, talking animals... I would sit quietly in my fathers garden or on the floor with my dog for hours. Either reading or just contemplating what else is out there, behind the veil. 

There were times when I lost my way, but between 2015 and 2017, I began to rediscover my path. A transformative encounter with Reiki in 2021, guided by my incredible mentor Joanna Tolley, opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of healing and self-discovery. As I peeled back layers of who I thought I was, I found the clarity to let go of what no longer served me.

The birth of my beautiful daughter, Sasha, in 2022 solidified my commitment to living a life of purpose—not merely to pay the bills, but to become the best version of myself for her and for the community around me. It was then that Tea with Adela began to take root.

For me, a cup of tea is a deeply spiritual experience. Each step—pouring hot water over the leaves, inhaling the fragrant steam—is a moment of mindfulness, a chance to connect with Mother Nature, and a time to simply be. I created Tea with Adela as a sanctuary for anyone feeling overwhelmed by the pace of modern life—a place to pause, to connect, and to heal.
